Our Family Support Navigator uses their expertise in family recovery to assist individuals who have a loved one with a substance use disorder (SUD) or who have lost someone. They help navigate barriers to treatment services and provide information and education about SUD and recovery. They connect friends and family members with support services.
We provide Peer support services at Hamilton, Fulton, and Montgomery County Correctional Facilities, empowering individuals to begin their recovery journey and build a foundation for lasting change.
We provide training for community members, professionals, peers, and their families on how to recognize and respond to opioid overdoses, as well as how to administer Naloxone (Narcan) to prevent fatalities. In collaboration with local law enforcement, we respond to reported overdoses by offering information and services. Training sessions can be scheduled by appointment or attended as walk-ins at the Gloversville or Amsterdam Centers.
